Azure API Management
API Management - Custom Authentication with target server
I've been trying the API Management suite for about a week or two now. So far, so good. I have a proxy set up and it works well. It seems to represent good value as an API management solution. However, now that I'm trying to configure one of our older APIs to be managed, which requires me to generate a session key, using a long key and a current timestamp, in order to access the target server. To date, though, I can only find Basic HTTP auth as a target server auth option in the API Management Interface. Is there some way to use a custom logic to generate a header value? Thanks, Tadhg
Hi Tadhg, Unfortunately there is no way to incorporate custom logic into the request processing pipeline at this time. This feature is on the roadmap though. Thanks, Vlad
