Unable to pull images from docker
Dear Team, I installed Windows server 2016 TP4 and WindowsServercore Image and tagged windowsservercore container , when i run docker images command i am getting below error An error occurred trying to connect: Get http://127.0.0.1:2375/v1.22/images/json: dial tcp 127.0.0.1:2375: connectex: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. My guess is that the docker daemon / service is not running. I’ve been able to repo the message by stopping docker on mu system, and running ‘docker images’. This paper walks through setup and configuration of Docker on Windows. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/windowscontainers/deployment/docker_windows Thanks neilp
Thank you very much Sir i have followed your instructions step by step still same error Murali
The docker log can be found under C:\ProgramData\Docker\daemon.log. Is there anything in there that may point out the issue? neilp
Thanks sir I checked there is no log file. I copied docker.exe to windows system32 folder Sir please provide me detailed installation of docker on windows server 2016 TP4Murali
All of the details are here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/windowscontainers/deployment/docker_windows If any specific item is not clear, I can help. neilp

Hello Murali - Ill answer as many of these as I can. Static IP Address - this is not possible in the current technical preview. Map Shared Folders - see this article (Shared Folders). System Configuration - can you provide an example. Minimum GUI - no, what are you trying to achieve? We may be able to script the desired configurations. Crashes / Backup - fundamentally, containers should disposable. That is, data and state stored in some Resilient location and accessed by the application hosted in containers. Hope this helps. neilp
Thanks a lot Yes your answers helped me. > system configuration -- AS container image are fixed with RAM , HDD Is it possible to change. >Minimum GUI -- Required to install some application Some docker commands not working on windows container Error response from daemon: The Windows graphdriver does not support Changes() Error response from daemon: Windows does not support commit of a running container Murali
On nanoserver , After I ran "docker run -it microsoft/nanoserver cmd" ,It had no response.
When I updated Win10 1703（15063 win10 creater）, the poweshell command which releated to container disappeared.
